Hot honey is getting HOT in the ranks! Hot honey ranks in the 100th percentile for future growth potential in the food industry. Its tremendous growth is predicted to outperform 100% of all other foods, beverages and ingredients over the next four years. Data has shown that consumers love hot honey more than 56% of all food and beverage items tested during trial. Hot honey was loved most by millennials with kids who categorized themselves as foodies! It was found that most foods incorporating hot honey were American food menus like pizza (22.5%), chicken wings (17.1%) and hot sandwiches (14.2%). With its projected success, hot honey items have emerged at popular fast casual food chains like Pizza Hut, TGI Fridays, Arby’s and others.
